Promotes quality education in a war-torn country, Afghanistan.
We raise funds and reach out to war-torn schools in rural areas of Afghanistan to promote quality education by refurbishing school buildings and providing essential necessities.
E4E visited seven schools in rural Bamyan in June 2018. Besides, recording videos for fundraising, E4E assisted one of the schools by providing carpet for its seven classrooms, a gate, a door and a window for its office.
We meet with the Embassy of Afghanistan in Japan. Mr Asif Agah, the second secretor of the embassy, and responsible for the education affairs of the embassy, appreciated our project and agreed to help us. He eagerly accepted to introduce our project to NGOs who are working with the same mission, and potential donors.
Meeting JVC (Japan International Volunteer Center) was another nice experience for our team. We shared our projects and keenly agreed to collaborate with each other.
We visited Pioneer Educational & Cultural Organization to hold capacity building and informative programs, mostly for females, regarding abroad educational opportunities.
We met Norika Fujiwara, the Japanese beauty queen, model, and actress to discuss her services in promoting quality education around the globe and in Bamyan, Afghanistan. It was an honour obtaining her support and collaboration on our projects in the future.
E4E also received a copy of Ms Fujiwara's photo album book from her visit to Afghanistan in 2001.
E4E continued to contribute additional school supplies to the Ahangaran Secondary School in the summer of 2019. E4E in collaboration with the Bamyan Education Department refurbished a wretchedly war-torn single-story building consisting of seven classrooms and an office of Ahangaran Secondary School during the summer of 2019.
Recently, E4E has refurbished one of the Ahangran Secondary School's classrooms as a library for the school. We provided the school with 1800 copies of different types of books with a sufficient number of bookshelves, tables, chairs, carpets, and other related furnishings.
